Hi everyone! My second feature is officially out on the hit podcast "Diet Starts Tomorrow!" This episode is titled, "Sticking To Your Diet On The Weekend is The Worst Ft. Tracy Lockwood Beckerman." #amiright? We answered a ton of questions from the listeners and discussed the reasons (backed by science) WHY I'm not standing behind the ketogenic diet, intermittent fasting diet and more. Hope you enjoy!!
I'm so excited to announce my latest project with Betches Media! I am their resident registered dietitian-nutritionist and health expert, offering a realistic and refreshing approach when it comes to fads of health and wellness. Betches Media launched a health focused podcast titled "Diet Starts Tomorrow" that was ranked No. 4 in comedy podcasts on iTunes, and No. 27 in all podcasts on the platform.
The podcast discusses all things weight loss, wellness and fitness from the no-bullsh*t perspective of real women who have experienced the struggle throughout most of their lives (myself included!), and have come to lose substantial weight. In a world where wellness looks PERFECT on Instagram but feels impossible in real life, the podcast acknowledges the reality of the psychological and emotional side of weight struggles and that not everyone has a Pilates home gym or the time to froth a matcha latte before work.
Diet Starts Tomorrow is hosted by Betches Co-Founders, Aleen Kuperman and Samantha Fishbein, where they discuss their own wellness journey, and everything from which fitness routines are actually attainable for the working betch, to staying healthy on vacation when all your friends are peer pressuring you to binge drink and share the truffle fries, to the reality that the "wellness" culture on Instagram is secretly sabotaging your expectations, and more.
I am so lucky to be part of the amazing team of Betches and you can listen my episode here =). New episodes are released every Sunday, so stay tuned for more exciting announcements!
Lactose-Free Energy Balls
In partnership with LACTAID®
The best part of a workout is when it’s over…who is with me? I always look forward to snacking post-workout on something that’s going to refuel my muscles, all while tasting delicious of course! This batch of energy balls, filled with old fashioned oats, dark chocolate chips (lactose-free!) and LACTAID® milk restores my energy and fills my body with the post-workout nutrients to aid in muscle recovery. It’s so easy to get distracted with work, emails, phone calls (the list goes on!) after you work out, which is why I carry a few energy balls with me on the go. Energy balls are the perfect portable snack. Using LACTAID® milk provides the health benefits of 100% real dairy without the consequences if you have a lactose sensitivity, so you can keep on keeping on and #milkthemoments.
